Panteia together with partners AustriaTech, CORTE, MAPtm, TRT, Sadler Consultants and Armis are currently working on the UVARTech Mapping project contracted by DG MOVE. The purpose of this study is to support the operation of more efficient, user-friendly and non-discriminatory UVARs across the European Union for both vehicle users, operators and city authorities. This will be achieved by identifying and mapping EU interoperable technical and digital solutions (or combinations thereof) as well as respective realistic and feasible implementation options that facilitate seamless travel across the Union with a view (i) to avoiding cumbersome pre-registration procedures for vehicle users and (ii) to ease conformity checks of vehicles for specific UVAR typologies such as Low/Zero Emission Zones.
The success of the project relies on an extensive engagement with experts and stakeholders at the local, regional, national and international level, through surveys, interviews, workshops and other events for which we would like to have you on board!
